We are The David Oney Family and we sing Southern Gospel music. Many of you may know us, for those who don't we would like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. Our ministry started in Dayton, Ohio in the late 1970's, traveling and singing through the tri-state area. We are born-again believers committed to the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We know that His coming is drawing near and we must stay busy furthering the kingdom of God. The Bible states: "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day, the night cometh when no man can work," (John 9:4 KJV). Our group consists of David, Beulah, Danny, and Gloria Oney. David is the leader of the group, drives the bus and handles all the necessary business matters. He sings the lead/baritone part for the group. His wife, Beulah, sings the lead/alto part and does all the bookings. She is in charge of the ministry product sales, which helps us to stay on the road traveling and singing. She also writes some of our songs. Danny sings the bass part and is the sound coordinator. He helps with some of the driving. His wife, Gloria, sings lead/tenor and wherever needed along with the penship of some of the songs. We have traveled many miles this year and we hope that we can do more next year, with the help of our friends and our Lord Jesus Christ. |
